· Start with a large piece of floss and wind it around both of your middle fingers, leaving a little bit at each end
· Begin to move the floss in between your teeth
· Curve the floss around the base of each tooth in a gentle manner as you reach the area near your gum line
· Make sure that you use clean sections of floss as you move between different sections of your gums
· Use a back and forth motion to bring the floss up and out of the crevices of your teeth
